I have not pressurized, but this hose appears to be very good quality. Time will tell.

We are very pleased with Ace's products, It is every bit as good as advertised. We are even more impressed that Ace would come out personally and show us exactly how to use the product by setting up a live demonstration. I will sleep a lot better knowing that I have a good fire defense system in place, should ever the need to use it occur.

I’m a retired firefighter with 34 years of experience. My home is susceptible to wild land fires. Fortunately, I have a fire hydrant 200 feet from my house. I bought several sections of hose and nozzles to protect the house in the event of a fire. The quality of the products is on the light duty side, but is perfectly acceptable for occasionally use. The Los Angeles fires were a wake up call. I looked at my own home with a more critical eye and realized how much combustible material I had on or near my house. Now that the exterior of my house has been tidied up along with the addition of fire hose and nozzles, as well as goggles and gloves, and a nomex hood. I feel much more prepared if something should blow through. Be careful and pick your battles. I could have scrounged older hoes from my former fire department, but I did not feel it was worth the risk, older hoes can fail without notice. My neighborhood is situated in such a way if everything goes to shit and I have to run for my life I have many safe areas of refuge.

On January 14th 2025 at the height of the unprecedented, catastrophic fires in Los Angeles. My wife and I felt that it would be prudent to equip our newly rebuilt pool with a fire defense system.
Going into this I knew zero about firefighting equipment.
I contacted Sherwin Ross at ACE Fire Preparedness Defense. The gentleman gladly shared unprecedented advice, and the following equipment in kit form at a reasonable price.
2) 75 ft x 1.5 in fire hose.
2) fire hose nozzles.
1) gated wye valve.
1) fire hydrant wrench.
I attached the above equipment to the fire hydrant down the street and it worked flawlessly with good pressure.

BTW, I also purchased a 3" gasoline powered pump from Harbor Freight with 3" suction tube. It pumps a considerable volume of water from my pool. It doesn't have the pressure of a fire hydrant but it shoots about 25 ft. This required a 3" NPT x 2.5" NST adapter to interface with the firefighting equipment.
Next I will be acquiring firefighting turnout gear, personal protective equipment.
