I Was in a Movie Called Wild Fire. Then I Lived One.
In 2005 I acted in a movie called Wild Fire. In 2018 a real one came over the hill near my house.
In 2005, I played Sy Richards in a movie called Wild Fire. Thirteen years later, a real one came over the hill near my house: the Woolsey Fire.
No script. No stunt double. Just neighbors with garden hoses.
So I built the gear I wish we'd had: the Gated WYE, Big Red attack hose, the Ace Pistol Grip and the chrome ACE hydrant wrench.
In the movies, you get a second take. In a wildfire, you don't.
Watch how I'd use that gear in a real wildfire:
It's insanity not to be prepared.
