How Adjustable Gallonage Works

The Ace Fire Defense pistol grip nozzle features a selectable gallonage ring (the red numbered section). By simply rotating this ring while the nozzle is flowing, you can instantly change the flow rate — typically from 30 GPM (low flow for longer reach or water conservation) up to 125 GPM (high flow for maximum knockdown power).

This is achieved through an internal baffle mechanism: turning the ring moves the baffle forward or backward, precisely adjusting the size of the water orifice. The result? You get the exact water volume you need without shutting down the line, while maintaining excellent stream quality in straight stream, narrow fog, or wide protective fog patterns.
