The Genesis of Ace Fire Defense – From the Ashes of the Woolsey Fire Podcast
From Tragedy to Purpose
The Spark That Started It All
On November 8, 2018, the Woolsey Fire exploded in Woolsey Canyon. With over 1,600 homes lost and emergency responders overwhelmed, one family made a decision — they stayed and defended their home for two days with limited resources.
That experience became the founding moment of **Ace Fire Defense**.
Why Ace Fire Defense Exists
We saw a massive gap: Professional-grade wildfire defense equipment existed for fire departments, but almost nothing was available — or affordable — for homeowners, CERT teams, and businesses in the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI).
So we built it ourselves.
Professional Equipment. Homeowner Prices.
Ace Fire Defense manufactures and delivers true fire-service quality products:
- Extra-thick 1.80mm – 1.89mm BMF XL Fire Hoses (the Rolls Royce of fire hoses)
- Heavy-duty Brass Hydrant Valves & Wrenches
- Professional Pistol Grip Fire Nozzles with superior reach and control
- Complete Fire Safe Home Defense Bundles
Who We Serve
Ace Fire Defense proudly equips:
- WUI Homeowners who refuse to lose their homes
- First Responders & Fire Departments
- CERT Teams and Community Emergency Groups
- Lumber Yards, Metal Refineries, and Industrial Facilities
- Municipalities and Government Agencies
