Pre-orders are now open for Big Red, the newest addition to the Ace Fire Defense lineup — a 1¾" x 100' attack fire hose built for homeowners and professionals who want maximum water volume when it counts.
Every hose we've built until now has centered on a 1.5" diameter. Big Red steps up to 1¾" — the same sizing used on professional fire truck attack lines — which moves significantly more water per second without giving up compatibility. The 1.5" aluminum NH/NST couplings still connect seamlessly to the hydrant valves, WYE splitters, and nozzles our customers already own.
Under the hood, Big Red uses a TPU/Nitrile blended lining engineered for superior flow, abrasion resistance, and long-term durability — this is a hose meant to be used again and again, not a one-time-use import. It's NFPA 1962 compliant and service tested to 300 PSI.
That performance standard isn't an accident. Ace Fire Defense was founded by a 2018 Woolsey Fire survivor who defended his own home and property, hose in hand, while embers rained down.
